Coping with the HEAT - 🥵

I have been playing on my computer during these EXTREMELY hot days—HAHA! This is one of the images I created using Midjourney, and I just really LOVE it!
Lately, I have been making junk-journal-style pages with a soft, mixed-media look. Creating them has been so therapeutic for me right now. There is something calming about layering colors, textures, and little pieces together until they become something beautiful.
It has been SO HARD not to complain about the sweltering heat—even up here in the mountains! I am trying to keep my heart and mind focused on Psalm 19:14:
“Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,O LORD,
my rock and my redeemer.”
The heat makes it difficult for me to focus sometimes. Honestly, I can struggle to keep my mind focused on Jesus even when the weather is perfect! That is why this verse keeps bringing me back and grounding me in truth—not only the words I speak, but also the thoughts and attitudes I allow to settle into my heart.
How are you dealing with the heat? Is it hard for you to stay focused too? And do you have a go-to Bible verse that helps bring your heart and mind back to Jesus?
In the meantime, I am dreaming of the cooler days that are coming—fireplace days, cozy blankets, and a warm cup of coffee! HAHA!
