These past two weeks I have seen God work in so many beautiful and unexpected ways. His timing is always perfect — even when I don’t understand it at first.

Because my surgery hadn’t been scheduled yet, a door opened that I never could have planned: my sweet friend, Bee, offered to drive me to the Leading and Loving It Pastors’ Wives Conference. I’ve been part of this ministry for over fifteen years, and every year it refreshes my soul.

This year, I wasn’t even supposed to go… but God knew what I needed.

If my surgery had been on October 10th like I once expected, I would have missed it.

Instead, I found myself worshipping Jesus with women who have encouraged me for years—listening to teachers who poured truth into my heart, hugging dear friends, and feeling surrounded by His love. In those moments, I felt God whisper, “I see you, I hear you, and I know what’s best for you.”

During one powerful prayer time, friends prayed over me—for healing, peace, and that God would use this journey for His glory. And then, during a luncheon, the phone rang—the call I’d been waiting for!

I finally have a surgery date: November 3rd! I was giddy, teary, and overwhelmed with gratitude. God’s timing is never late—it’s right on time.

And to top it all off, I was honored and thrilled to be included in the brand-new “Lead & Love” devotional book that was released at the conference! What an incredible blessing to be part of something that pours encouragement into other women in ministry.

This week has been such a gift—a reminder that when we wait on the Lord, He often surprises us with far more than we could ever ask for. I’m grateful for my friends who love me beyond what I can comprehend, and for a God who keeps showing me how deeply I am loved and seen.

🌼 Scripture

“You see me and know me, Lord; You have recorded every moment of my life.”—Psalm 139:1–3 (paraphrased)

🌷 Closing Thought

Maybe you’re waiting, too—on an answer, a breakthrough, or a door to open. Keep trusting. God knows exactly what you need, and His timing is a blessing.
