Grateful for Friends — Part 1 of My Grateful Series 🌸✨

Friends — you are one of life’s greatest gifts.
Over these quiet days at home (not driving and learning to simply be), I’ve been reflecting on the beautiful tapestry of people God has woven into my life. I have church friends, Disney friends, and art friends — and some of you are woven into all three categories (triple blessing!). I honestly cannot imagine this short, sweet life without you.
You have walked beside me in seasons of not knowing. You’ve prayed with me on the church patio, shared stories in small groups, sketched and painted alongside me, and even spent magical days at Disney, laughing and collecting memories that glitter in my heart.
Every one of these moments has changed me — for the good.
And as I pray for each of you, as I create this fun “friend” art, I am reminded again and again: I am truly grateful. Grateful for every coffee shared, every tear wiped away, every silly laugh, every whispered prayer, every sunset sat under, and every piece of joy you’ve given me.
I LOVE YOU. Truly. You are God’s blessing in my life.
Scripture Reminders of Friendship:
“A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” — Proverbs 27:9 (MSG)
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV)
YOU are these verses in ACTION in my life!!
Why Friends Matter So Much
When we sit together — whether it’s sketching, praying, or chasing Disney magic — I feel lighter, braver, more loved. When we share life, God shows me pieces of His love through you. And in this season of waiting, you’ve carried me in ways you might not even realize.
This is the beginning of my Grateful Series — little love notes to God and to you, celebrating all the people and moments that fill my life with beauty. And friends, you are the very best place to start.
So thank you — for being you. For being here. For being my people.
With so much love,
Pam
