Perfectly Imperfect!

Lately, I’ve been reading little drawing prompts and seeing what comes out of my imagination.

These two? No reference art. Just a prompt, my iPad, and a little willingness to see what happens. HAHA!
A little bird under a leaf. A butterfly with a suitcase… ready for a NEW adventure.
I think that butterfly might be me. 🥰
After a year of healing, I’ve learned so much about what I LOVE to do. Creating. Playing with color. Letting a simple idea become something I hadn’t imagined before I started.
And I’m discovering how much JOY there is in going slowly enough to learn something new.
I’m getting comfortable with loose lines. With trying something and changing my mind halfway through. With letting a drawing be perfectly imperfect—and loving it anyway.
“For who hath despised the day of small things?” — Zechariah 4:10, KJV
Those words remind me to appreciate small beginnings. A little drawing. A few sentences.
One small step into something new.
Maybe there’s an adventure waiting for you, too. Something you’ve wanted to learn or something you used to love and would like to try again.
We can take our time. Practice. Enjoy what we discover along the way.
My butterfly has her suitcase packed. And me? I’m bringing my iPad, my wobbly lines, and a thankful heart.
Slow and go… let’s see where this adventure takes us. 🥰

I truly love the beautiful images.
They spark Joy in my heart!😊
Loving the small things is so lovely,!
