The Peacock & The Flamingo – An Ongoing Love Story 💕

There’s something so whimsical and wonderful about a flamingo and a peacock standing side by side.
Opposites? Absolutely.
But in the most perfect, God-ordained way.
Chuck is my peacock—elegant, strong, steady, full of wisdom and presence. I’m the flamingo—colorful, creative, a little wobbly at times, and often dancing to my own rhythm. Together? We just work. Not because we’re the same, but because we’ve learned to celebrate what makes each of us beautifully different.
And lately… I can’t stop creating these pieces of us.
In MidJourney, I’ve been exploring our story through art—layer after layer, style after style.
Sometimes it’s dreamy and glowing, sometimes playful and childlike. Each piece feels like another way of saying: thank You, Lord, for pairing us so perfectly.
It’s more than just art—it’s worship.
It’s gratitude.
It’s love.
As I walk through this season of uncertainty, surgery prep, and waiting… Chuck has been my comfort, my laughter, my covering. He makes sure I’m okay—spiritually, emotionally, and yes, even physically. I’ve never been more grateful for the way he takes care of me.
God brought us together. He knew I’d need a peacock when the winds got strong.
And Chuck? He reminds me that it’s okay to lean on someone. That strength and softness can walk side by side.
So I’ll keep creating.
Not just pictures of birds, but snapshots of the grace God has poured over our marriage.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”— Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 (NIV)
This flamingo is forever thankful for her peacock.
And for the God who wrote our love story with such beauty and care.
I LOVE you Chuck, with ALL my heart! Thank you for being the man God created you to be!
