— a whimsical heart check-in

Today I caught myself smiling at this little ball of joy…Big eyes, bold colors, wings stretched wide and unashamed—and then I noticed her reflection.

How often do we look in the mirror and only see the flaws?

The messy feathers.

The uncertain wobble.

The “not quite enough.”

But what if we were more like this bright little bird?

Arms—er, wings—open wide, saying:

“This is me! Colorful. Curious. Created.”

I imagine God smiling when He sees us like this.

Full of life, reflecting not perfection—but joy.

The joy of being His.

So here's my little encouragement today:

Stretch your wings.

Be bold in color.

And don’t be afraid to reflect the beauty He put in you.

Even if you feel a little fluffy around the edges. 😉

✨Whimsy Thought:

What would your reflection say if it could talk back today?

Would it giggle? Would it dance? Would it remind you that you’re a masterpiece in motion?

Verse to Feather Your Heart With:

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."— Psalm 139:14
