Today, Iām feeling it ā the nearness of God. In the middle of the unknowns ahead, Iām holding onto peace and filling my heart with worship music, quiet walks, and little sips of gratitude.
Thereās something sacred about walking, journaling, and talking to Jesus under the open sky. It's in those slow steps and whispered prayers that I feel Him most.
These days before my surgery are a gift ā not a pause, but a gentle space to prepare, to breathe, and to pray for my sweet friends who are walking their own hard paths too. Medical struggles touch so many right now ā and sometimes, we just donāt have the words.
But love? We always have that.
So today, I want to remind you (and me):
Letās really love the people around us.
Letās make the call.
Letās send the note.
Letās smile at the stranger and speak a kind word.
We never know what someone is carrying ā but we can carry love into every space we enter.
Life is short and precious. Letās live it with wide-open hearts.
A few verses Iām holding onto today:
šļø āAnd over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.āā Colossians 3:14 (NIV)
šļø āLet all that you do be done in love.āā 1 Corinthians 16:14 (ESV)
šļø āMy command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.āā John 15:12 (NIV)
