Never Alone in the Storm

Some storms crash in without warning. Others stretch on far too long, and we wonder if they’ll ever pass. The waves rise, the winds howl, and we feel so small—fragile, even—like we might not make it through.
That’s how a few of my dearest friends are feeling right now. Their hearts are heavy. Their days, long and overwhelming. And as I’ve been praying for them, I felt stirred to create this image—a tender reminder that in every crashing wave, in every shadowed storm, Jesus is not only with us… He is holding us.
This picture says what words sometimes can’t.
Because when we feel like we're barely holding on, He is already holding us.
Not just walking beside us—though He does. But gathering us into His arms. Shielding us. Weeping with us. Whispers of peace over our panic.
He knows our breaking points. He sees every tear, hears every prayer we can’t even speak out loud. And He’s not disappointed. He’s not distant. He is near.
The Bible tells us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
This post isn’t just for my friends—it’s for you too, if you’re walking through something hard today.
You don’t have to be strong enough. You don’t have to have the answers. You don’t even have to know what to pray. You are seen. You are known. And you are held—secure in the arms of the One who calms the storm and carries your heart.
So take a deep breath, sweet friend.
You’re not alone.
You’re not forgotten.
You’re not too much.
You are loved beyond measure… and held in the storm.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.”—Isaiah 43:2
You are so loved.
With hope and prayer,
Pam
I am PRAYING that you KNOW and FEEL God with YOU right now!
