Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:7 (NIV)

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
There’s something breathtaking about the way light pours through the cracks of a broken vessel. In the world’s eyes, broken things are tossed aside. But in the Kingdom of God, brokenness becomes a canvas for His glory.
This image—a cracked vase, lovingly adorned with delicate flowers and glowing from the inside—reminds me of how Jesus chooses to shine through us, not in spite of our brokenness, but because of it.
We are jars of clay—fragile, imperfect, and weathered by life. Yet, within us dwells the most precious treasure: Jesus. And as we walk through hardships, healing, and surrender, the cracks in our hearts become places where His light shines through the brightest.
It reminds me of the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with powdered gold. The cracks are not hidden—they’re highlighted, celebrated. The break becomes part of the beauty. And just like that, God doesn't erase our wounds—He fills them with glory.
You may feel worn. Cracked. Maybe even shattered in places. But friend, that’s where the glory gets out. 💛
Let your light shine—not a perfect, polished light, but the radiant glow of Christ breaking through every broken space.
🌸 Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for choosing to live in me—this jar of clay. I may not be perfect, but Your presence fills every broken place with beauty. Shine through me. Use my story, my scars, and my surrendered heart to reflect Your love to the world. Let others see You in the way my light glows. Amen.
