With God in the Fight

I’m still in the waiting season. My next doctor’s appointment is September 5th, and I am praying that will finally be the day I receive a surgery date.
This past week, I also had a kidney scan—one that has been monitored for over a year. The results showed that the spot has grown, and now it may require a CT scan to know more.
When I first read that, fear hit me. For a moment, I felt the weight of it all. It just seems like so much at once.
But in that moment of fear, I was reminded that I am not fighting alone.
I opened MidJourney and created this piece of art—a girl with a sword standing beside a great lion. To me, it is a picture of my reality: I stand with God in this battle, and He is not only with me but also fighting for me.
I may feel fragile at times, but He is strong. I may be waiting, but He is already at work. And in the unknown, I can lean into His strength and His presence.
“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” — Exodus 14:14 (ESV)
So I continue to wait with courage, holding the sword of His Word, standing beside the Lion of Judah, and trusting that He has every detail in His hands.
Thank YOU for praying WITH me in all this... I so APPRECIATE you all! 🥰
PS - I have created a lot of new artwork - so I will be posting some of them in new blogs... as I wait!
