“I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.”— Psalm 9:1
Today I’m pausing to remember. To reflect. To give thanks—with my whole heart.
God has walked with me through the hardest seasons and the most joyful celebrations. He has never left me—not once.
He gave me a best friend and my most favorite person in the whole world in my husband, Chuck—48 years of choosing each other and choosing Jesus. What a testimony of grace and commitment.
He entrusted me with motherhood, and now “grandmotherhood” too—what a joy-filled, laughter-packed gift!
He called me into ministry—not just by title, but through the everyday moments with people. And what a blessing it has been to serve Him and LOVE on people for all these years. Truly, another gift I treasure.
He taught me to see beauty in ashes, and even gave me a sparkle-loving, Disney-hearted spirit that helps bring joy to others. I don’t take a single magical moment for granted.
There were times I wanted to give up—but He held me close.
I’ve learned I can slow down... and He still loves me.
There were days I didn’t feel strong enough—but He was my strength.
There were moments I felt unseen—but He always saw me.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”— Psalm 34:18
“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.”— Psalm 145:3
So today, I’m giving thanks—with my whole heart. And I’m remembering all the marvelous things He has done…because He truly has done great things.
What are some of the things that GOD has done in YOUR life?
It is so good for our souls to remember!
