We Have a Date! 🎉

I can hardly believe it—I finally have a surgery date! October 10th is officially on the calendar. WOOHOO!

The last few weeks of waiting have been filled with so many emotions. I’ve prayed, I’ve journaled, I’ve created art, and I’ve tried to stay present in the in-between. And through it all, I’ve clung to the truth that God has me. He’s heard my prayers, and now He’s answered in His perfect timing.

I’ll be honest, I don’t feel sick right now, so sometimes it feels surreal to think about what’s ahead. And yes, I’m a little nervous about the recovery process—haha, I think anyone would be! But I also know this: God goes before me, and He will walk with me every single step of the way.

So today I’m celebrating this news with JOY, with peace in my heart, and with gratitude for the prayers and love that continue to surround me.

Would you join me in praying? Pray for the surgery itself, for a smooth and complete recovery, and for peace for both me and Chuck as we step into this next chapter.

I think I’m still a bit overwhelmed (haha!), but I know this is just the start of what God is doing—and I trust Him completely.
